How to Prepare a File for Printing

Basic tips on color separation, color matching, and color profiles before sending your job to the printer.

Before sending a file to the printer, it's a good idea to check three things: bleeding, resolution and sources.

The bleed must be at least 3 mm at the edges that extend to the trim line. Images must be at 300 dpi at their final size, and fonts must be embedded or converted to outlines.

At Indipress, we review your files and let you know if any adjustments are needed before production.
